Key Decisions Taken by Andhra Pradesh Cabinet
In a significant meeting chaired by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the state cabinet approved several crucial decisions concerning governance, development, and welfare initiatives. The session saw extensive discussions and endorsements across a wide spectrum of administrative and policy-related matters.

The cabinet passed a resolution congratulating the Indian Armed Forces for the successful execution of "Operation Sindhoora" and expressed appreciation for their efforts. Additionally, the cabinet conveyed its gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for initiating the reconstruction activities in Amaravati.

Approval was granted for decisions made during the 47th CRDA (Capital Region Development Authority) meeting. The cabinet also greenlit land allocations to various institutions within the Amaravati capital region.

Notably, the cabinet approved a proposal to formally designate Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh within the context of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act. A resolution to this effect will be forwarded to the Central Government, clearly affirming Amaravati as the state’s capital.

The meeting involved detailed deliberation on welfare programmes such as Talli Ki Vandhanam and Annadata Sukhibhava. Ministers also discussed precautionary measures to be taken in coastal security and in the vicinity of defence-related industries.

It was reported that the cabinet also reviewed the seating arrangements made during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Andhra Pradesh. During the discussion, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu reportedly issued key directives to officials, instructing them to ensure that central ministers and state ministers are seated on opposite sides in line with protocol. He is also said to have directed that arrangements be made for Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to be seated next to him, emphasizing that such issues should not recur in future events.

The cabinet gave its approval for the establishment of Jala Harathi Corporation under the Companies Act within the Water Resources Department. It also resolved to allow farmers to transport silt from state reservoirs to their fields free of cost.

Further, the cabinet approved the creation of an Urban Design Planning Cell within the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), and also endorsed employment-linked incentives for tourism-related projects.
