Mumbai Top Order Falters; Finish with 155 Against Gujarat
Mumbai Indians struggled to score runs in their match against Gujarat Titans. Gujarat Titans won the toss and opted to bowl first. As a result, Mumbai Indians, batting first, managed to post only 155 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Will Jacks stood out with a half-century, scoring 53 runs off 35 balls, including 5 fours and 3 sixes. Suryakumar Yadav supported well with 35 runs from 24 balls, hitting 5 boundaries.

Mumbai Indians had a shaky start to their innings. Opener Ryan Rickelton was dismissed early for just 2 runs, caught by Sai Sudharsan off the bowling of Mohammed Siraj. Captain Rohit Sharma could not stay at the crease for long either; he was out for 7 runs, caught by Prasidh Krishna off Arshad Khan.

At that stage, Will Jacks and Suryakumar Yadav stitched together a crucial partnership for the third wicket. They played aggressively and boosted the scoring rate. However, just as Suryakumar Yadav was gaining momentum, he was dismissed by Sai Kishore. Shortly thereafter, Rashid Khan removed Will Jacks, dealing a blow to Mumbai’s hopes of posting a big total.

Following their dismissals, Tilak Varma (7), captain Hardik Pandya (1), and Naman Dhir (7) were dismissed for low scores. In the end, Carbyn Bosch played a few impressive shots, scoring 27 runs from 22 balls with one four and two sixes, helping the team cross the 150-run mark. He was run out on the fourth ball of the final over.

Among Gujarat Titans bowlers, Sai Kishore took two wickets. Mohammed Siraj, Arshad Khan, Prasidh Krishna, Rashid Khan, and Gerald Coetzee each claimed one wicket. Rashid Khan was economical, conceding only 21 runs in his four overs while taking a wicket. At the end of the powerplay (six overs), Mumbai Indians had scored 56 runs for the loss of two wickets.
