RCB Shares Kohli's Favourite Song Moment; Actor Simbu Responds

Team India star player Virat Kohli, known for his ever-energetic demeanor, often unwinds by listening to music when he feels bored. During breaks in practice, he is frequently seen enjoying songs through his headphones or Bluetooth speakers. While many assume that Delhi-born Kohli would primarily prefer Bollywood music, it has now come to light that the “run machine” has a particular fondness for South Indian songs.

In a recent special interview, Virat Kohli revealed his current favourite song, which he said he’s been playing on loop. He showcased the song live during the interview by playing it on his mobile phone. The track he highlighted is “Nee Singam Dhaan” from the Tamil film Pathu Thala, starring actor Silambarasan (popularly known as Simbu). Kohli stated that this song is presently his most favourite.

The video clip of this moment was shared by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) official social media account, and it quickly went viral across social platforms.

Actor Silambarasan also re-shared the post and added the caption “You truly are a lion,” addressing Kohli. This post too gained rapid traction online, with fans of the cricketer responding enthusiastically in their own unique styles.

Meanwhile, discussions about a potential biopic on Virat Kohli have been circulating for quite some time. Reports in Bollywood media suggest that actor Silambarasan may play the role of Kohli in this biopic. These speculations were further fueled after Silambarasan recently adopted a beard style closely resembling Kohli’s. Additionally, Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor had earlier expressed his desire to portray Kohli in the biopic, revealing his interest in taking on the role.

Separately, Virat Kohli’s current performance in the ongoing 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has been impressive. With a series of half-centuries, the run machine has been in top form. So far, he has scored 443 runs in 10 matches and currently holds the fifth position in the Orange Cap race.
