Pahalgam Terror Attack: Amit Shah Issues Key Directives to Chief Ministers
In the aftermath of the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, the central government has taken a decisive step. According to available information, the Ministry of Home Affairs is considering the cancellation of visas issued to Pakistani nationals residing in India.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah conducted a high-level review of the situation and subsequently engaged in telephone conversations with the Chief Ministers of all states. During these discussions, Amit Shah directed the state governments to immediately identify Pakistani citizens currently residing within their jurisdictions and initiate procedures to deport them.

It has also been reported that Amit Shah advised state governments to begin the process of cancelling all visas granted to Pakistani nationals. The Centre has indicated that all such visas will stand cancelled by the 27th of this month.

This decision by the central government, following the recent terror incident, is being treated as a matter of utmost urgency.
