Air Hostess Assaulted While on Ventilator Support
A shocking incident occurred at a prominent hospital in Gurugram, where a 46-year-old air hostess, who was undergoing treatment on a ventilator, was assaulted by a hospital staff member.
According to the police, the victim, an air hostess, was staying at a hotel in Gurugram. On April 5, while swimming in the pool at the hotel, she fell and experienced health complications. She was immediately admitted to a nearby well-known hospital for treatment.
The following day, while she was receiving treatment on a ventilator, a hospital staff member sexually assaulted her. However, the air hostess did not disclose the incident at the time. After being discharged from the hospital, she informed her husband about the assault. The couple then approached the local police station to file a complaint.
Police officials recorded her statement before a magistrate in court. Following the registration of the case, an investigation was initiated. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage to identify the accused. Police stated that the suspect would be apprehended soon.
