Hyderabad-Based Mivi Introduces AI Buds with Voice Assistant Features
Hyderabad-based consumer electronics company Mivi has launched its artificial intelligence-powered platform 'Mivi AI' along with a new generation of AI-enabled earbuds named 'Mivi AI Buds'. The company stated that these earbuds are capable of conversing with users.
Amidst the expanding influence of artificial intelligence technologies, Mivi introduced this new product to the market. The company described the 'Mivi AI' platform as an AI system capable of conversing naturally, akin to human interaction. According to Mivi, this AI does more than just respond to questions—it can engage in contextual conversations, understand users' emotions, and remember details from past interactions.
The 'Mivi AI Buds' function based on this AI platform and are true wireless stereo earbuds. These can be activated using the voice command "Hi Mivi". They are capable of offering personalized suggestions and retaining the context of previous conversations. The company revealed that special 'virtual avatars' have also been integrated to provide information on specific topics such as cooking, news, and health.
In addition to the AI features, Mivi emphasized that significant focus was given to audio quality. The earbuds include AI-powered environmental noise cancellation to reduce background noise, deep bass drivers for enhanced bass, and touch controls for easier operation.
Mivi stated that a single charge offers approximately 50 hours of playtime. Co-founders Midhula Devabhaktuni and Viswanadh Kandula said that a special chip design and significant investment in cloud infrastructure have been made to support these features.
