Man Threatens to Kill MLC Vijayashanthi's Husband

A case has been registered at the Banjara Hills Police Station in Hyderabad against a man who allegedly issued death threats to MLC Vijayashanthi’s husband, M.V. Srinivasa Prasad. The accused, identified as M. Chandrakiran Reddy, first became acquainted with M.V. Srinivasa Prasad around four years ago. He had approached him claiming to offer promotional services on social media. Following a preliminary assessment of his work, M.V. Srinivasa Prasad reportedly assured him of a potential contract in the future.
However, when the expected results failed to materialize, M.V. Srinivasa Prasad decided not to formalize any agreement and discontinued further engagement with M. Chandrakiran Reddy. Subsequently, the accused began presenting himself to various political leaders as someone working for Vijayashanthi, allegedly securing contracts under this pretense.
At a later point, M. Chandrakiran Reddy sent a message to M.V. Srinivasa Prasad asking when he would be paid. When M.V. Srinivasa Prasad questioned the legitimacy of such a demand, given that no contract had been finalized, he suggested that they discuss the matter in person at his residence. However, the accused did not visit the house. Instead, he allegedly sent a threatening message stating that if he was not paid, he would destroy their lives and kill him brutally “without mercy.”
Following this, M.V. Srinivasa Prasad lodged a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint, a case has been registered and an investigation is currently underway.
