Nara Lokesh Announces Free House Site Registration From Next Week

In a major announcement, Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, stated that starting next week, people will be able to register house sites without incurring any expenses. He also declared that within two years, beneficiaries will gain the right to sell their allotted house sites.
Addressing the fourth day of the “Mana Illu – Mana Lokesh” program, held at Don Bosco School in Mangalagiri, Nara Lokesh handed over permanent house site documents to 430 underprivileged individuals from the Tadepalli Mahanadu area. In total, 1,030 poor families received permanent house site documents on the day.
During his speech, Nara Lokesh said, “In the past, people wandered tirelessly for house site documents, spending thousands on photocopies and applications, yet no one cared. The long-standing dream of permanent house sites was neglected for decades. I promised to deliver the first phase of house sites within a year, and I have come before you in 11 months to fulfill that promise.”
Nara Lokesh explained that measurements were taken on a war footing under the coalition government, and a policy was brought in after detailed discussions in the Cabinet.
He elaborated, “From next week, house site registration can be done without spending even a single rupee. Within two years, the right to sell the site will also be granted. However, I sincerely request that no one sell their sites. Our region is developing exceptionally. We will make Mangalagiri number one in the country across all sectors. I need everyone's cooperation to achieve this. I will carry Mangalagiri’s people in my heart and work tirelessly for your welfare.”
Highlighting other development initiatives, Nara Lokesh stated, “In the second Cabinet meeting, we cleared the long-standing dream of Mangalagiri residents—a 100-bed hospital. The foundation stone for its construction will be laid on the 13th of this month, and it will be completed within a year.”
He also announced plans for modern underground infrastructure including drainage, water pipelines, gas lines, and electricity. Additionally, the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple will be developed, along with parks, lakes, and recreational facilities. “We will set up cricket turfs and basketball courts for children to play,” Nara Lokesh added.
