Apple Ships iPhones to the U.S. in Five Full Flights — Here's Why

In response to the tariff hikes announced by United States President Donald Trump, Apple Inc. took swift action to mitigate potential financial impact. According to airport authorities, the company shipped iPhones manufactured in India and China to the United States using five fully loaded cargo flights over a span of just three days.
Of the five shipments, three aircrafts departed from India and two from China, each carrying only iPhones. The decision was made by Apple management towards the end of March, following the announcement that retaliatory tariffs would come into effect from April 2.
To reduce the burden of import duties, Apple expedited the export of all iPhones produced at its manufacturing facilities in India and China. Financial experts stated that this move enabled Apple to maintain stable pricing for iPhones in the U.S. market for a longer duration.
In line with this strategy, Apple released a statement indicating that despite the implementation of the new tariffs, the company currently has no plans to increase iPhone prices.
