Centre releases Rs. 385 Cr to AP, Rs.150 Cr to TS

New Delhi, March 29, 2015: As per the recommendations of the Finance Commission, the Centre has released Rs.385 Cr and Rs.150 Cr to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively under various overheads. Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who lobbied with the Centre to ensure release of maximum funds to the state before March end, is expecting release of more funds to AP in the next two days. Disclosing the details of release of funds here, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitely said the Centre is committed to implement all its bifurcation commitments towards Andhra Pradesh.
