UAE Frees Over 500 Indian Prisoners in Ramadan Amnesty
On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan granted a pardon to several prisoners. As part of this amnesty, 1,295 prisoners were released from various jails across the UAE. Additionally, a decision was made to extend clemency to a total of 1,518 individuals.

Among those released, more than 500 are reported to be Indian nationals.
