No special force is guiding me : Jaya Sudha

Hyderabad, March 27, 2015: Expressing dismay at the ugly turn the election to the Movie Artistes Association (MAA) has taken, actress Jaya Sudha, one of the contestants for the coveted post of president, has declared here today that she has become a contestant at the request of majority artistes. "There is no special force guiding me in my bid. I am here as a contestant at the request of artistes. And I am here to work for the welfare of all including the small artistes," she declared at a press conference. Taking a dig at her rival Rajendra Prasad, she said that the panel members led by her would first donate their might to the MAA to add to the existing association funds before seeking donations from outsiders. Jaya Sudha said that she would strive to provide pension and health cards to all artistes. "I won't give you false promises like the other contestant, " she remarked and added. " The association will take steps to help poor artistes perform their daughters' marriages without any difficulty. Funds will also be raised by conducting cultural programmes every six months, she promised and asked the members to vote for her panel in the election.
