India’s Wealthiest and Poorest MLAs Revealed in ADR Report
According to the ADR report, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar is the second-richest MLA in the country, possessing assets worth ₹1,413 crore.
On the other hand, the poorest MLA in India, as per the report, is Nirmal Kumar Dhara of the BJP from West Bengal, with declared assets of only ₹1,700.
The ADR stated that it could not analyze the affidavits of 24 MLAs due to missing documentation. Additionally, seven assembly seats remain vacant.
This report has sparked discussions in political circles, as it is based on asset declarations made by candidates during elections.
