Centre to release Rs. 250 Cr for Polavaram, Rs.549 Cr from NSSF

Hyderabad, March 26 ,2015: The Centre has decided to release Rs. 250 Cr to AP Government in the present financial year for construction of the Polavaram Project. The Centre said in a press release that a SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle ) would be set up to go ahead with the construction of the Polavaram project. In addition to the above, the Centre has also decided to release an amount of Rs. 549.6 Cr to the state from the National Small Savings Fund (NSSF) for taking up various developmental works.
