Gutta Jwala Reveals Why She Agreed to a Special Song in Nithiin's Film
Former badminton star Gutta Jwala has revealed that she appeared in a special song in actor Nithiin's film Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde solely because of him. In a recent media interview, she stated that Nithiin's persistent request led her to take up the song.
Gutta Jwala mentioned that despite receiving movie offers even after establishing herself in badminton, she was never interested in pursuing a film career. She explained that she politely declined those opportunities as acting did not appeal to her.
She shared that she has many friends in the film industry and, by observing them, she realized the demands of the profession. According to her, one needs to be uninhibited to succeed in films, which she felt was not in her nature. Reflecting on her experience with the song shoot, she admitted that even discussing it now feels unusual. She added that acting requires significant adjustments, which she was unwilling to make. In contrast, she noted that in sports, one can practice for ten hours and then rest, whereas the film industry demands constant engagement round the clock.
Gutta Jwala revealed that Nithiin, a close friend, first asked her to appear in the song during a party. To avoid the conversation, she casually agreed, assuming he would forget. However, three months later, Nithiin brought up the topic again, informing her that the song was finalized and shooting would begin soon. When she tried to refuse at that point, Nithiin insisted that she be part of it.
She further noted that her appearance in the song helped the film gain national media attention, generating significant publicity for the movie.
