Actress Jethwani Case: Suspension of Three IPS Officers Extended

The Andhra Pradesh government has extended the suspension of three IPS officers for another six months in connection with the case involving Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani. The officers had previously been suspended for allegedly arresting and harassing the actress.

The suspended officers are former Intelligence Chief P.S.R. Anjaneyulu, former Vijayawada Commissioner of Police Kanthi Rana Tata, and IPS officer Vishal Gunni. Their initial suspension period had ended, prompting the government to issue fresh orders extending their suspension until September 25.

According to the official orders, the extension follows recommendations from a review committee, which cited violations of All India Services rules by the three officers.
