PM Modi’s Social Media to be Managed by Women Achievers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shared encouraging news for women achievers. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, he reiterated his decision to entrust the management of his social media accounts to women. Modi made this announcement during the inauguration of a food security program in Surat yesterday.

This initiative is not new for the Prime Minister. On March 8, 2020, in celebration of International Women’s Day, he had given control of his social media accounts to seven distinguished women achievers, allowing them to share their experiences and contributions. Among them were Kalpana Ramesh from Andhra Pradesh, along with Sneha Mohan Das, Dr. Malavika, Arifa Jaan, Vijaya Pawar, Kalavati Devi, and Veena Devi from different states across India.

Modi is among the world leaders with millions of followers on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, and Telegram. By handing over the management of his accounts to women achievers from various fields, he aims to inspire millions through their stories of social service and dedication.
