Chandrababu Naidu-Led AP Cabinet Clears Key Bills and Policy Amendments
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, was held today at the state secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Education Minister Nara Lokesh, other ministers, and senior officials from various departments attended the meeting. Key bills and proposals were discussed during the session.
The Cabinet approved the Higher Education Department’s proposals for amendments to the Private Universities Act. It also granted approval to proposals from the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development departments. Additionally, the Medical and Health Department’s proposals received the Cabinet’s green signal, including the recruitment of 372 civil surgeon posts.
A decision to allocate four liquor store licenses to the Sondi community was also approved. The Cabinet gave its nod to establishing a Digital Nerve Center in Kuppam.

Agriculture College in Rajamahendravaram: Free land allocation for its establishment.
Old Havelock Bridge Development: Allocation of 116 acres of land for the project.
Tourism Land Allotment Policy: Approval of the proposed policy.
MSME Park in Seethampeta: Free land allocation for the project.
DPVO Cadre Regularization: Approval for streamlining the DPVO cadre.
Civil Services Reforms: Approval for cadre changes to ensure direct service delivery to the public.
