Ahead of Guv Narasimhan's arrival, Mission Kakatiya stage collapses

Warangal, March 24, 2015: Minutes before the Governor ESL Narasimhan was to have addressed a Mission Kakatiya meeting at Muddunuru in Warangal district, a dais erected for hosting the presence of first citizen of Telangana state collapsed. Locals said the contractor used cheap materials in erecting the stage where the Governor was to participate in the prestigious Mission Kakatiya programme aimed at restoration of lakes. The Governor, along with his wife, earlier paid a visit to the famous Bhadrakali temple at Warangal and offered prayers.
