Hyderabad Airport Sees Emergency Landing as Passenger Faces Cardiac Arrest
A Qatar Airways flight made an emergency landing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad after a female passenger suffered a heart attack mid-flight. The aircraft, operating as QR-642, was en route from Doha to Dhaka, Bangladesh, when the medical emergency occurred.
Upon experiencing health complications, the flight crew sought immediate permission from air traffic control to land in Hyderabad. After receiving clearance from the relevant authorities, the aircraft landed at 3:25 PM.
Airport medical staff and an ambulance were on standby to assist the passenger. However, despite being rushed to the airport hospital, she could not be saved.
