Renowned singer Kalpana was recently reported to have attempted suicide following an alleged dispute with her daughter. Reacting to these claims, Kalpana’s daughter has spoken out, refuting the rumors.

Upon hearing about her mother’s condition, Kalpana’s daughter, who resides in Kerala, rushed to Hyderabad. The police have recorded her statement. Speaking to the media, she clarified that her mother had taken an excessive dose of sleeping pills due to stress, which led to her falling unconscious.

She emphasized that her parents are happy and doing well. "My mother did not attempt suicide," she stated firmly, urging the media to refrain from spreading false narratives.

In her statement to the police, Kalpana’s daughter asserted that her mother took only the prescribed sleeping pills given by her doctor, which she used for mental relaxation. She further stated that there were no family issues and that Kalpana had been struggling with stress and insomnia.
