"Stepping Down with a Heavy Heart": Jos Buttler's Emotional Post on Resigning as England Captain
England's white-ball cricket captain, Jos Buttler, has announced his resignation from the leadership role following a string of defeats in both One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 matches. Buttler shared an emotional post on Instagram, expressing deep sorrow over his decision to step down.

"It is with a heavy heart that I have decided to step down as England’s white-ball captain. Leading my country has been the greatest honor of my career, and I will always be proud of it. The results speak for themselves, and I believe this is the right time to make this decision. I am grateful to my teammates, the support staff, and all England fans for their support throughout my tenure. A special thanks to my wife, Louise, and my family, who have been the pillars of strength in this journey," Buttler wrote in his Instagram story.

England recently suffered a 3-0 whitewash against India in the ODI series. Additionally, in the ongoing Champions Trophy, the team has lost all three of its matches, leading to an early exit from the tournament without reaching the semi-finals.
