CCTV Footage Captures Woman’s Shocking Attack on Mother Over Property Feud

A shocking incident unfolded in Hisar, Haryana, where a woman allegedly tortured her own mother over a property dispute. The accused, identified as Rita, reportedly bit her mother and physically assaulted her, threatening, "I will drink your blood." The disturbing episode, which was recorded on CCTV by the victim’s son, has since gone viral on social media.

According to Hisar police, Rita was married two years ago but returned to her parental home after a dispute with her husband. Later, after reconciling, she invited her husband and mother-in-law to live with her at her mother’s residence. The victim, Nirmala Devi, had been living alone after the death of her husband. Meanwhile, Rita’s brother, Amar Deep Singh, was residing elsewhere due to work commitments.

Rita allegedly set her sights on her mother’s property, selling a family-owned asset in Kurukshetra for ₹65 lakh and keeping the money for herself. She then pressured her mother to transfer ownership of their house and other assets into her name. When Nirmala Devi refused, Rita reportedly held her captive and subjected her to severe abuse.

Amar Deep Singh claimed that Rita prevented him from visiting their mother and even threatened to file false cases against him. Recently, he managed to obtain video evidence of Rita physically assaulting and biting their mother. He submitted the footage to the police, leading to Rita’s arrest.

Hisar police confirmed that a case has been registered against Rita under multiple sections of the law, and she has been taken into custody.
