Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani Among World's 24 Super Billionaires

Indian billionaires Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani have achieved another milestone by securing positions in the list of 24 global "super billionaires" who each possess a net worth exceeding $500 billion (₹4.35 lakh crore).

Tesla CEO Elon Musk tops the list with a net worth of $419 billion (₹36.45 lakh crore), maintaining his position as the world's wealthiest individual. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos follows in second place with $263.8 billion. Mukesh Ambani, with a net worth of $90.6 billion (₹7.88 lakh crore), ranks 17th, while Gautam Adani stands at 22nd place with $60.6 billion (₹5.27 lakh crore).

Musk's earnings currently amount to $2 million (₹17.4 crore) per hour. Based on this trajectory, he is projected to become the world's first trillionaire by 2027. His wealth is also noted to be 20 million times greater than the average American's net worth.

As of early February, these 24 super billionaires collectively control 16% of global billionaire wealth, a significant increase from just 4% in 2014. Their combined net worth currently stands at $33 trillion—equivalent to France’s GDP. Among them, 16 have attained the status of "centibillionaires," possessing net worths exceeding $100 billion.
