Vallabhaneni Vamsi's Custody Petition Hearing Postponed

Former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who was arrested in connection with the kidnapping case linked to the attack on the Gannavaram Telugu Desam Party (TDP) office, remains in judicial remand at the Vijayawada District Jail. Vamsi is facing allegations of kidnapping Satyavardhan, a Dalit youth employed at the TDP office.

The police have filed a petition in the Vijayawada court seeking Vamsi's custody for further investigation. During the hearing, the court postponed its decision, scheduling the next hearing for Thursday. In their petition, the police requested 10 days of custody for Vamsi and two others, stating that additional details needed to be obtained from the accused.

Both parties presented their arguments in court before the judge decided to adjourn the hearing to the following day.
