CM Chandrababu Holds Meeting with Bankers, Discusses Key Issues
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu chaired a State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) meeting today, where he discussed several critical issues with banking officials. The discussions focused on the Viksit Andhra Pradesh initiative, Swarnandhra Vision Document 2047, the P4 Policy, financial support for MSMEs, agricultural sector loans, DWCRA loans, Mudra loans, PM SVANidhi scheme, Stand-Up India initiative, housing projects under TIDCO, and the expansion of banking networks in rural areas. Several state ministers and senior officials also participated in the meeting.
During the session, Chandrababu Naidu urged bankers to cooperate with investigative agencies in examining alleged irregularities from the previous government’s tenure. He also encouraged banks to collaborate with the government in advancing the welfare of farmers in the state.
The Chief Minister emphasized that horticulture would play a pivotal role in the state’s agricultural landscape, urging banks to extend support to horticulture and natural farming sectors. Additionally, he called on banks to align themselves with the Vision 2047 development strategy.
