Telangana Eases Process for New Ration Cards and Updates

The Telangana government has announced a relief measure for impoverished individuals without ration cards. Citizens can now apply for new ration cards at MeeSeva centers across the state. The Civil Supplies Department has directed the MeeSeva Commissioner to facilitate the acceptance of applications from eligible beneficiaries.

The government had previously issued guidelines for the issuance of ration cards. In addition to new applications, citizens can also update existing ration cards online, including changes in address and other details.

Officials clarified that the issuance of new ration cards is an ongoing process with no fixed deadline. The government assured the public that there is no need for concern, as every eligible individual will receive a ration card.
