I Am Not Responsible for His Death: Senior Actress Jayasheela
Senior actress Jayasheela, known for her vamp roles in Telugu cinema, recently spoke about her personal life in an interview with ‘Suman TV.’ Having acted in nearly 600 films, she shared various aspects of her journey in the industry.
“I come from a good family and had the opportunity to work with many renowned artists. When the industry was based in Chennai, it was a wonderful environment where everyone interacted warmly. However, Hyderabad does not have that same atmosphere,” she said.
Recalling a significant chapter in her life, Jayasheela revealed, “During my peak in the industry, I came across a police officer due to a legal matter. He pursued me for a long time, saying he wanted to marry me, even though he was already married and had children. I did not entertain his advances and focused on my work. At that time, some rowdy gangs were active in Madras, and for protection, I got closer to him. After his wife passed away in an accident, I eventually decided to live with him.”
She further added, “He had two children, and I even took responsibility for their weddings. However, due to his elder daughter’s influence, a rift developed between us. In the years before his death, we had no relationship. He abandoned me in the middle of the road after listening to his daughter. There is no truth in the rumors that I took his property or that I am responsible for his death.”
