RGV to Face Police Inquiry Tomorrow in Ongole Over Social Media Posts

Film director Ram Gopal Varma is set to appear before the Ongole police in Prakasam district tomorrow in connection with a case related to his social media posts. A case was registered against him last year for allegedly posting content that was derogatory toward Chandrababu Naidu, his family members, and Pawan Kalyan. The case is being investigated at Ongole Rural Police Station, and Varma has been summoned for inquiry on February 7.

Initially, the police had issued a notice requiring Varma to appear for questioning on February 4. However, he requested a postponement, stating that he would be available on February 7. He communicated this to the investigating officer, Circle Inspector Srikanth, and sought permission for the revised date. Following approval from the authorities, Varma is scheduled to appear before the police in Ongole on Friday.
