Marriage Halls Abuzz as Wedding Season Kicks Off in Telugu States
With the conclusion of Pushya Masam, Magha Masam has commenced, bringing with it a series of auspicious wedding dates. Starting tomorrow, weddings will take place in quick succession, filling marriage halls with celebratory fervor. Homes that had remained quiet due to the absence of favorable dates will now witness a festive atmosphere.

Along with weddings, several industries are set to become active, as nearly 25 sectors—both directly and indirectly—benefit from wedding-related activities. From priests to event organizers, many professionals are expected to be busy in the coming weeks.

Work has already begun at marriage halls that were booked in advance. The series of auspicious dates will continue for the next four months, concluding on May 23. Following this, Jyestha Masam will begin on May 28. However, during Phalguna Masam, there will be no auspicious dates between March 18 and March 28 due to Shukra Moudhya (a period considered inauspicious for weddings).

According to marriage hall bookings, thousands of couples in the Telugu states are set to tie the knot during Magha Masam, indicating a significant number of weddings in the coming weeks.
