Mahesh Gorijala of Vijayawada ranked fourth in GATE

Vijayawada, March 14: A boy from Vijayawada identified as Mahesh Gorijala is reported to have secured fourth rank in the electronics and communication engineering (ECE) stream of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Results for GATE were released late on Thursday, reports said. At least 9.28 lakh candidates had registered for GATE-2015 and a maximum number of candidates are said to have appeared for mechanical engineering stream. Several candidates from Hyderabad scored good ranks in GATE. The scores of these candidates will be considered for PG programmes in IITs, NITs and other engineering colleges.
