Roja Alleges Pawan Kalyan Avoids Questioning Chandrababu

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) launched a protest today against the increase in electricity charges. Former minister and YSRCP leader R.K. Roja criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of failing to fulfill his election promises. Speaking during the protest, Roja alleged that the coalition government has been continuously increasing electricity tariffs, placing a heavy burden on the public.

"Why is Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan remaining silent while electricity charges are being hiked? Why is Pawan unable to question Chandrababu Naidu?" Roja questioned. She further declared that the YSRCP’s fight would not stop until the increased electricity tariffs are rolled back.

Roja also pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu had promised during the elections that electricity charges would not be raised and, if possible, would even be reduced. However, she claimed that the government has instead imposed a significant financial burden on the people. "Pawan Kalyan, who once said he would not tolerate electricity hikes, seems unable to stop them now," Roja stated.
