Min Yanamala introduces Rs. 1,13, 049 Cr budget in AP assembly

Hyderabad, March 12, 2015: AP Government presented the 2015-16 annual budget today in both houses of Legislature. While Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu introduced the budget in the assembly, Municipal minister P.Narayana presented the budget in the Legislative Council. The budget , having proposals worth Rs. 1,13, 049 Cr, contains a plan expenditure of Rs. 34, 413 Cr, non-plan expenditure of 78, 637 Cr, revenue deficit of Rs.7300 Cr and fiscal deficit of Rs. 17, 584 Cr. An amount of Rs.3168 Cr was allotted for the construction of AP Capital city. The following are the other allotments made in the AP budget. Power : Rs.4360 Cr Godavari Pushkarams: Rs.1368 Cr Youth and sports: Rs. 45 Cr IT Development: Rs.370 Higher education: Rs.3049 Cr Endowments development:Rs.100 Cr Tourism development:Rs. 330 Cr Marine Academy at Machilipatnam: 300 acres Minorities: Rs.379 Cr Irrigation : Rs.5258 Cr
