YSRCP members stage walk out from AP assembly

Hyderabad, March 12, 2015: YSR Congress Party members today staged a walk out from the AP assembly after Speaker Kodela rejected their adjournment motions on Polavaram, Patti Seema projects and Housing schemes. Asking the Speaker to accept their adjournment motions, leader of the opposition Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the Government has failed to implement the housing scheme even nine months after coming to power. In reply, Minister Achchannaidu said because of the illegalities that took place in the granting of houses for the poor during the period of YSR, the present government is unable to implement the scheme. To this, Jagan Mohan Reddy retorted: "If you think illegalities took place, why did you admit in to your party Silpa Mohana Reddy who worked as Housing Minister during YSR period?" YSRCP member Roja objected to Minister Achchan Naidu replying to each and every question on behalf of the government even though he has no relation to the questions raised. "Are you getting the mike just because you have a mouth?" she fumed.
