Nagababu Inducted into Cabinet; Ambati Rambabu’s Satirical Tweet Goes Viral

YSR Congress Party senior leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu took a sharp jibe at actor and Jana Sena leader Nagababu's induction into the state cabinet. Using ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) as his platform, Ambati sarcastically remarked, “They think the government is like a multi-starrer movie.” He tagged Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, Minister Nara Lokesh, and Nagababu in his tweet, which has since gone viral on social media.

Speculation about Nagababu being nominated to the Rajya Sabha had been circulating for some time. However, in a surprising move, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced Nagababu's inclusion in the state cabinet, making him a central topic of political discussions. Currently serving as the General Secretary of Jana Sena, Nagababu had unsuccessfully contested for the Lok Sabha seat in 2019.

Although there were rumors of his participation in subsequent elections, they never materialized. Many expected him to secure a Rajya Sabha seat, but the BJP announced R Krishnaiah’s name instead.
