Suriya Reveals: “My Film Inspired Someone to Become an IPS Officer”
Suriya's latest film 'Kanguva' is set to hit theaters on November 14. Directed by Siva, it is a periodic action film, with Disha Patani as the female lead. As part of the promotional tour, Suriya visited Hyderabad on Thursday, where he delivered an emotional speech to his fans: “Seeing your love brings tears to my eyes.
I am deeply grateful for the affection you show me, and in return, I have worked hard to give you a great cinematic experience with 'Kanguva'. Director Rajamouli has been a major inspiration for me to take on such projects. 'Kanguva' is not just a fighter movie, it is a warrior film—a story of someone who fights for his people and his beliefs.”
Suriya also mentioned his participation in Balakrishna’s 'Unstoppable' show: “It was an unforgettable experience to be on his show. Balakrishna’s discipline, hard work, and dedication are what made him reach such heights.”
Director Siva spoke about the film’s plot, saying: “The story is set a thousand years ago and revolves around the battles between five clans from ancient times. Just as everyone loved the trailer, I am confident the film will exceed those expectations. Inspired by Rajamouli’s works, I made this film. I previously remade Rajamouli's 'Vikramarkudu' in Tamil as 'Siruthai', which brought me success and the nickname 'Siruthai'. I firmly believe 'Kanguva' will impress all of you.”
