Modi's Cabinet Includes Six Lawyers and Ten Postgraduates

Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new cabinet was sworn in on Sunday night, comprising a total of 72 members. The Union Council of Ministers includes 30 Cabinet Ministers, five Ministers of State with independent charge, and 36 Ministers of State. Notably, six of the new Cabinet Ministers are lawyers. Additionally, three members have MBA degrees, and ten are postgraduates.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rajnath Singh hold Master's degrees. Among the ministers, Nitin Gadkari, JP Nadda, Piyush Goyal, Sarbananda Sonowal, Bhupender Yadav, and Kiren Rijiju have law degrees.

Rajnath Singh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, S. Jaishankar, Dharmendra Pradhan, Dr. Virendra Kumar, Mansukh Mandaviya, Hardeep Singh Puri, Annapurna Devi, and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat have completed postgraduate degrees. Additionally, six ministers, including Manohar Lal, HD Kumaraswamy, Jitan Ram Manjhi, Rajiv Ranjan (Lalan Singh), Prahlad Joshi, and Giriraj Singh, hold graduate degrees.
