Water-sharing row: AP and TS CMs meet at Raj Bhavan

Hyderabad, Feb 14: Chief Ministers of Andhra pradesh and Telangana, N Chandrababu Naidu and K Chandrasekhar Rao, met on Saturday to discuss on the row over the sharing of water of Nagarjunsagar reservoir. The meeting between the two warring leaders took place after an unsavoury incident that saw senior cops from both the states involved in a clash. Chandrababu and Chandrasekhar Rao met in the presence of Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan here on Saturday. According to sources, the decision to hold talks came after Naidu is said to have spoken to Rao over phone on Friday night and exchanged their views on the situation at Nagarjunsagar, a release from KCR's office said. KCR's office latter expressed its readiness to discuss and resolve the issue on amicable terms. The outcome of the meeting is yet to be known.
