Tirupati Cong candidate wages lonely battle against rigging

Tirupati, Feb 13, 2015: Congress candidate in Tirupati assembly constituency Sridevi has alleged that TDP has brought in bogus voters to the polling booths for rigging even as the polling percentage was very low in the by-poll held today. Sridevi has toured most of the polling booths in the town along with her supporters and caught hold of some people who were involved in bogus voting. At one place, she found a minor boy exercising franchise, caught hold of him and handed him over to the police. At another booth, she fell on the feet of the police and asked them to ensure that bogus votes are not polled. At some places, she became furious with polling officials and took them to task asking them to explain whey people without voter and identity cards were allowed to vote.
