KCR dines with Borla Ramireddy who drilled 67 bores in his fields

Hyderabad, Feb 12, 2015: Telangana Chief Minister KCR has once again proved he never forgets commoners. When Byreddy Ramreddy of Mushampally village in Nalgonda district, fondly called as Borla Ramireddy, the farmer who spent away his fortune by drilling 67 bores in his agricultural fields for water without concrete results, sought an appointment with KCR, the latter asked officials to bring him to his camp office immediately on Wednesday. This was the farmer who KCR referred several times in his public meetings during Telangana agitation. " Borla Ramireddy is the embodiment of suffering of Telangana farmers," KCR told his audiences at many towns and villages in Telangana before the formation of Telangana. To his pleasant surprise, KCR welcomed him and the farmers who accompanied him happily, dined with them and took Ramireddy to the Secretariat along with him in his vehicle discussing problems of his village. Ramireddy sought Government's help for construction of roads and improving the facilities at the market yard. KCR immediately instructed his officials to attend to the problems of Ramireddy's village. He then spoke to his cabinet colleague Harish Rao and directed him to take up the issues on priority basis. Ramireddy and his group of farmers also met Harish Rao who had assured them full government support to solve the village issues. Ramireddy later told reporters:" I met KCR Garu during the T agitation. I am thankful to him for remembering me and receiving me well."
