In Parvathipuram, a significant incident occurred involving YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) MLA Jogarao and TDP candidate Vijay Chandra. MLA Jogarao hosted a private meeting with volunteers at his residence, which was disrupted by Vijay Chandra, causing a major stir.
Vijay Chandra, having received information about the meeting, attempted to intervene by visiting Jogarao’s residence. Observing the arrival of TDP supporters, the volunteers at the meeting promptly left the scene. The departure was captured on mobile phones by Vijay Chandra's associates. However, YSRCP leaders stopped Vijay Chandra and his followers, and seized their mobile phones. This confrontation led to a verbal clash between the two groups.
Upon learning about the incident, the police arrived at the location, mediated the situation, and dispersed both parties. The mobile phones seized by YSRCP leaders were subsequently taken into police custody.
