Capital region farmers turn to actor Pawan for justice

Hyderabad, Feb 4, 2015:It has come to light that some farmers' representatives of the AP Capital region , especially from Yarrabalem and Undavalli villages, met Tollywood actor and Jana Sena President Pawan Kalyan a few days ago and asked him to speak on their behalf to ensure justice for them on the issue of land pooling. The farmers' representatives reportedly informed the actor that government officers are forcibly taking away their lands and terrorising those farmers who are not willing to give away their lands. "As per your appeal during the elections, we had voted for TDP and BJP. You had promised to respond whenever there is injustice. Now , we are being subjected to difficulties by the government. We request you to act on our behalf now to render justice to us," they told him. However, Pawan Kalyan told them that he would not speak about politics till 2017 but would respond on people's problems at the right time. Reports said that the actor has decided to conduct farmers' meetings region-wise soon to discuss their problems.
