Chandrababu shocks employees by saying 'NO' to PRC implementation
Hyderabad, Feb 4, 2015: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has served a shocker to the state government employees by making it clear to them that the government can not implement PRC ( Pay Revision Commission) recommendations on pay hike as the Government is not in a position to meet even the daily expenses. Chandrababu Naidu disclosed this when the employees' JAC leaders called on him on Tuesday seeking implementation of the PRC recommendations. The JAC leaders reminded him that the Cabinet Sub Committee formed two months ago on pay revision has not even called the leaders for discussions on the issue. To this, Naidu replied saying that he will ask the Cabinet Sub Committee to talk to them. "I will think of revising pay scales after going through the sub committee report,"he told them. However, it is not clear when the Cabinet Sub Committee will call the employees' leaders for discussions and when it will submit its report. When the CM told the leaders that the financial position of the government is very bad and PRC report can not be implemented, the JAC leaders retorted saying:"This is not correct. No chief minister said this in the past. Suppose , the government's financial position is excellent, will you give us more?" To this, Chandrababu Naidu maintained stoic silence.
