AP, TS release schedule of entrance tests for professional courses

Hyderabad, Feb 3, 2015: The Andhra Pradesh Government , which decided to conduct EAMCET separately for its students, has announced the schedule of various entrance examinations. Following the decision of AP Government, Telangana Government has also announced its schedule of entrance examinations for various professional courses. The following is the schedule for various entrance tests in AP. EAMCET : May 10 ECET : May 14 ICET : May 16 EDCET : May 28 LAWCET : May 30 The following is the schedule for various entrance tests in Telangana. EAMCET : May 14 LAWCET : May 19 ECET : May 21 ICET : May 22 PedCET : May 25 PECET : June 4 EDCET : June 6 The AP Government , which first suggested that common entrance test should be conducted by both states simultaneously, has also threatened to drag Telangana Government to court after it rejected the suggestion. Ultimately, AP has decided to conduct separate entrance examinations as filing a court case against Telangana would jeopardize the future of lakhs of students because of possible delay in court judgments.
