TS to give clearances within 15 days for new industries: KCR
Hyderabad, Jan 29: Telangana government is getting ready to announce its new industrial policy soon.
Disclosing this here today, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandraskhar Rao said the newly allocated All India Service officers have more or less settled down in their posts. This will enable the government to draft the new industrial policy, he said.
KCR made these statements at the inaugural function of the insulin facility of Shanta Bio Tech here.
The officiers will now look into the nitty gritties of the enacted industrial law and provide provisions for the time frame to provide all approvals for the projects, he explained.
KCR went on to say that all clearances to industries will be provided within 15 days.
The chief minister then invited pharma giant Sanofi that owns Shanta to invest in Telangana.
Sanofi is expected to invest Rs.460 crore in the new vaccines facility located at Muppireddipalli, which is 40 km from Hyderabad. This 13,400 square metre building and the plant site will be operational by 2019.
