Ambitabh says he is not qualified for Bharat Ratna
Mumbai, Jan 27, 2015: Differing with the statement of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee that he deserves the country's highest civilian award Bharat Ratna, Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan said he is not qualified to receive Bharat Ratna. Reacting to the Centres' announcement of Padma Vibhushan award for Amitabh, Mamata Banerjee has said the Bollywood actor deserves Bharat Ratna. In response to Mamata's statement, Amitabh Bachchan has tweeted saying the Padma Vibhushan award was highest for him. "Mamataji. I am not qualified for Bharat Ratna award. The country has given me the highest respect," he tweeted , once again displaying his humbleness.
