Yanam is new haven for filmmakers
Yanam, Jan 27: Puducherry's enclave Yanam has become a haven for Tamil and Bhojpuri producers and film-makers. Yanam's scenic beauty, beach and structures dating back to the French era seem to be attracting filmmakers from the two film industries. According to production companies, it is easy to procure permissions from Yanam administration for shooting films here. In addition to location, simple procedures to get permissions, and availability of accommodation appear to attract film crews to this town.
