Student beaten up after 7 days' FB chat with girl
Vijayawada, Jan 27, 2015: A young man was beaten up and abandoned in an agricultural field by some unidentified people here this morning after he chatted for seven days with a girl over Face Book. The youth, Sivadurga Srinivas from Gollapudi of Krishna district, has been chatting with a girl over Face Book for the last one week. "Today is a holiday for our college. Can we meet shortly at Adventure near the Vijayawada Club?" he requested his FB girl friend. She too has agreed to meet him. However, as he was waiting at the Adventure, some people came over to him and whisked him away in a vehicle. They kicked him black and blue and abandoned him in an agricultural field near Tadepally. The Tadepally police have sent him for medical treatment and registered FIR based on his complaint. The victim feels that the persons who had beat him up could be the girl's relatives.
