Microsoft to explore setting up Devp Centre in AP

Hyderabad, Jan 24, 2015: Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates assured Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that he would explore the possibility of setting up Microsoft Development Center in the state. Bill Gates gave this assurance to Chandrababu Naidu during a 40-minute meeting after dinner last night at Davos, according to a press release issued by the CMO here on Saturday. The press release says that Bill Gates had also assured Naidu that he would support the state in the implementation of its education, technology, health and immunization policies. The Chief Minister had earlier made a Power Point presentation to Bill Gates over the investment opportunities in AP.

Chandrababu meets Satya Nadella, Eric Schimidt
The Chief Minister's office said Chandrababu had also interacted with Microsoft ECO Satya Nadella and Google CEO Eric Schmidt and sought their cooperation in the development of AP. Both of them had assured Naidu that they would help him in pursuing developmental policies and in their effective implementation. Eric Schmidt had assured Naidu that Google will help the state implement its digital literacy programs. Chandrababu Naidu had also met some other industrialists from India including B.Goenka of Wellspun Group on the sidelines of World Economic Forum meeting.
