Swine flu scare: TS govt cracks the whip, transfers director of health Sambasiva Rao

Hyderabad, Jan 22: The government of Telangana is reported to have on Thursday transferred the Director of Health P. Sambasiva Rao with swine flu reaching alarming proportions. In a related development, the government has asked Arogyasri CEO Jyothi Buddha Prasad to take additional charge of the health department untill further orders. According to sources, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is reported to have pulled up Sambasiva Rao during a review meeting that was held to discuss measures to tackle swine flu.
